Lycon wax is a premium waxing system from Australia, renowned for its ability to remove hair as short as 1mm, much shorter than what traditional waxes can handle. It is formulated with natural resins and beeswax and enriched with soothing ingredients such as aromatherapy oils, which help make the waxing experience less painful and more comfortable.
Lycon wax is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its gentle formula ensures that even clients with sensitive skin can experience a smooth waxing session without significant irritation or discomfort.
While no waxing is completely pain-free, Lycon wax is known for being significantly less painful than traditional waxing methods. The wax adheres strongly to the hair but not the skin, reducing the pull on the skin and minimizing discomfort and irritation.
Lycon wax is effective on hair as short as 1mm. This allows for more flexibility in scheduling appointments, as you don’t have to wait for your hair to grow to a longer length typical with traditional waxing.
Absolutely. Lycon wax is specifically designed to be gentle on all skin types, including sensitive skin. The natural ingredients and aromatherapy oils in the wax provide a soothing effect, reducing the likelihood of adverse reactions.
The results can vary depending on individual hair growth cycles, but generally, clients enjoy smooth skin for about 3 to 6 weeks after their Lycon wax treatment. Regular waxing sessions can also lead to finer and sparser hair growth over time.
It’s best to ensure your skin is clean and free of oils and lotions. Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 24 hours before your treatment to reduce sensitivity. Hydrating your skin with light moisturisers in the days leading up to your waxing can also improve results.
After waxing, avoid heat treatments such as hot baths, sauna, or intense exercise for at least 24 hours. Keep the waxed area clean, and avoid tight clothing to reduce the risk of ingrown hairs and irritation. Use a suitable post-wax lotion to soothe and hydrate the skin.
